Product Overview:
Cialis contains Tadalafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor that is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Tadalafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual activity, helping to achieve and maintain an erection. It also helps to relax the muscles in the prostate and bladder, relieving symptoms of BPH. Cialis is known for its long duration of action, with effects lasting up to 36 hours, allowing for greater flexibility in sexual activity timing.
Indications:
Cialis is prescribed for the treatment of:
Erectile Dysfunction (ED) in adult men.
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), which helps alleviate symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and difficulty urinating.
Dosage and Administration:
Erectile Dysfunction (ED): The recommended starting dose is 10mg, taken at least 30 minutes before anticipated sexual activity. Depending on individual response, the dose may be adjusted to 20mg. The maximum recommended dose is 20mg once a day. Cialis can be taken with or without food.
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): The recommended dose is 5mg once daily, taken at the same time each day, with or without food.
Cialis can also be taken as a lower-dose, daily option (2.5mg to 5mg) for continuous use for those who anticipate regular sexual activity.
Warnings and Precautions:
Cialis should only be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Not suitable for men who are taking nitrate medications (e.g., for chest pain or heart conditions) or have severe heart, liver, or kidney issues.
Cialis should not be used if you have had a stroke, heart attack, or irregular heartbeats in the past 6 months.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience a prolonged erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism), sudden vision loss, or sudden hearing loss.
Cialis does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Barrier methods such as condoms should be used for STI protection.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include headache, indigestion, muscle aches, back pain, and nasal congestion. These side effects are generally mild and temporary. Serious side effects, although rare, may include priapism (prolonged erection), sudden vision or hearing loss, and an allergic reaction.
