Lumigan was found to be so efficient for increasing the length, thickness and pigment of eyelashes that it was rebranded to become the first and only medical eyelash serum that is FDA approved. A multitude of studies have shown that Lumigan causes the eyelashes to be: 25% Longer 106% Thicker 18% Darker Lumigan is composed of a modified version of the medication Bimatoprost. This is a synthetic form of prostaglandin, which is a substance made in response to injury to help control inflammation and the regeneration of tissue. This medical serum, from Allergan, is applied to the hair follicles to adjust the hair cycle. It causes hairs to grow for longer, resulting in longer and thicker lashes.
